She awoke to that stary night;
Wondering, thinking, as always.
A curse, not a curse. She thought.
But what of it?
What does it all truly mean?
Could she be in one life-long dream…
Everything she cared for, gone.
Everything that cared for her, gone.
A world… a world. That’s all it was.
Nothing would be the same;
It could never be.
Things, they always happen.
Though to the best, it seems.
Staring into the embers;
Fragments of a life gone by.
For after something of this magnitude,
There is no coming back.
Not even a chance.
